Day 1: Morning Arrival at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport and immediately take a local
- Arrival and Evening Game Drive
- Arrival at Mfuwe Airport: Most safaris start with your arrival at Mfuwe International Airport, which serves as the gateway to South Luangwa National Park.
- Transfer to Lodge: You'll be transferred to your Kafunta River Lodge, where you can settle in and enjoy some rest.
- Evening Game Drive: After settling in, embark on your first game drive in the late afternoon. This is a great time to see predators becoming active.
Day 2-3: Full-Day Safaris
Morning Game Drives: Start early with morning game drives. This is the best time to see wildlife as animals are most active during the cooler hours.
- 11:00 Back to the Lodge in time for Brunch and rest after bruch
- 15:00 Afternoon Tea/Coffee and snacks in readiness for afternoon/night drive
- 15:30 Departure for evening game drive
- 20:00 Arrive at the Lodge in time for dinner
- Night Drives: Unique to South Luangwa are the night game drives, offering chances to see nocturnal animals, including the elusive leopard.
Day 4: Morning: Transfer to Three Rivers Camp – Early morning game drive and coffee on the way.
- 11:00: Arrive at Three Rivers Camp in time for Brunch. – rest after Brunch
- 15:00 Afternoon Tea/Coffee and snacks in readiness for afternoon/night drive
- 15:30Departure for evening game drive
- 20:00 Return to the Camp for dinner
Day 5: Early morning Guided walking safari (or game drive).
South Luangwa National Park is famous for pioneering walking safaris. A guided walk is a thrilling way to experience the bush and the wildlife.
- 11:00 Brunch in the bush before walking back to the Camp, rest at the Camp before Night game drive.
- 15:00 Afternoon Tea/Coffee and snacks in readiness for afternoon/night drive

- 20:00 Return to the Camp for dinner
Day 6: Last Game Drive and Departure
Morning Game Drive: Enjoy one last game drive in the morning during your transfer to Mfuwe Airport for your flight to Lusaka for your international flight, carrying with you memories of an incredible adventure.
