The Luangwa Wilderness Walking Trail is the first of its kind to be offered in the Luangwa Valley.
Along the trail you will explore the enchanting and diverse landscapes that define Luambe National Park
- ·Day 1: Arrival in South Luangwa
When you arrive at Mfuwe Airport, you will be driven to one of our partner lodges in South Luangwa where you will spend your first night.
- Day 2: Travel to Luambe / Start of the Trail
Depart from South Luangwa and arrive at Luambe Camp in time for high tea and briefing. You will then head off on your wilderness trail.
- Day 3 – 4: Wilderness Trail
These two days will be spent walking through the Park and sleeping under the stars.
- Day 5: Return to Camp
Conclude your trail with a bush brunch under Luambe’s trees, then relax at the camp, share stories, and enjoy a delicious dinner.
- Day 6: Depart for Mfuwe
Early breakfast followed and then bid farewell to the lodge and the captivating landscapes of Luambe National Park as you depart for the drive back to Mfuwe – taking with you cherished memories of your adventure in the remote Zambian wilderness.
